Virtú’s Summer Donation Drive Delivers Over 46,000 lbs. of Food

As part of our Impact Program, Virtú's portfolio of properties hosts two food drive competitions each year, with proceeds benefiting the neighborhoods that surround them.

Our summer food drive results are in, and together we delivered an incredible 46,600 pounds of food to families in need. This effort raised $6,990 in donations, which provided 23,300 pounds of food. With our 100% matching policy, that impact doubled.

Since 2019, Virtú has proudly donated a total of 132,492 pounds of food through seasonal food drives.

A Broader Impact Commitment

Virtú’s Impact Program began more than a decade ago with a focus on resource efficiency and sustainability, reducing carbon emissions and water usage across our properties. By 2019, we expanded this vision to include social impact initiatives such as community gardens, educational programs, and volunteer opportunities for our teams and residents.

Food drives are one of the many ways we put this commitment into action—ensuring our properties are not only places to live, but also platforms for creating stronger, healthier communities.
