Long before it had a name, the belief that our work should positively shape our communities and environment guided how we operated.
In 2010, we gave that commitment a permanent seat by launching our Impact Program, creating a clear way to align our efforts across the portfolio, hold ourselves accountable, and strengthen the role we play as responsible owners, operators, and partners.

Neighborhood Support
We invest in the well-being of surrounding neighborhoods through donation events, volunteer programs, and support for local businesses, contributing over 155,000 pounds of food and more than 6,700 volunteer hours to-date.
Curated Resident Events
Fostering connection and belonging is central to our mission. To date, we’ve hosted more than 1,150 curated resident events, each tailored to reflect the unique character and interests of its community.
