Rebrand + Renovation | Bellevue, WA
Bellevue is a rapidly growing tech hub and a favored home base for up-and-coming professionals. A short drive from Seattle, it routinely ranks among the best mid-sized cities in the US, drawing residents who are building careers and seeking home bases that offer opportunities for connection and solitude.
When we acquired Cerasa Apartments, we saw what the submarket was not offering this resident: a sense of balance and calm inside a demanding, fast-moving city, and we set out to deliver it. That understanding of what the audience actually needed, rather than a generic repositioning, is what shaped everything that followed.
Stokely replaced Cerasa with an identity that expresses luxury through modernist sophistication. Developed by Paper Laundry, the brand is rooted in balance: a contrasting neutral palette and considered geometric elements that read as a deliberate nod to the equilibrium a home should offer against the hustle of city living.

With B2 Design Co., we brought that idea of balance into the amenity spaces, including an upgraded building exterior, lobby, leasing office, corridors, club room, outdoor lounge, and gym. The spaces were designed to hold both sides of how this resident lives: a club room and outdoor lounge for gathering, and quieter settings built for retreat. We also added an enclosed conference space for our remote-work residents, a decision that came directly from understanding how this audience lives and works rather than from a standard amenity checklist.
