Virtú Investments Acquires Portofino Riviera in Sausalito, California

Virtú Investments has closed on its purchase of Portofino Riviera in Sausalito, California.

This acquisition presented an opportunity for the Evergreen Fund to acquire a 39-unit multifamily property with historic appeal and potential for significant value-add upside. Virtú’s business plans for the property include substantial renovations to unit interiors, common areas, and exterior finishes.

Sausalito is a waterfront community on the San Francisco Bay in Marin County, just north across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco. Comparable in many ways to other gateway Bay Area submarkets, Sausalito offers upscale dining and shopping, boutique art galleries, and a refined outdoor lifestyle.
