  • Duncan Hatch

    Duncan Hatch

    Director of Development

    Duncan Hatch joined Virtu Investments in January 2008 and is responsible for Virtu’s corporate sustainability initiatives and the development of strategic relationships. Previously Mr. Hatch was a founding officer of Solidus Networks, a San Francisco-based technology company, where he oversaw early stage corporate development – leading to $400 million in financing and the acquisition of six companies over the course of five years. He later served as Vice President of Field Operations for the hiring and deployment of technical and marketing personnel in 1200 retail locations in the US, Asia, and the UK. Prior to Solidus, Mr. Hatch ran business development for StreetFusion, a successful venture-backed financial services company serving Fortune 500 companies and the largest US financial institutions. After graduating from Colorado College with a degree in Biology, Mr. Hatch led wilderness survival trips in the Rocky Mountain West.
  • Stu Bone

    Stu Bone

    Regional Acquisitions Director

    Stu Bone sources and directs all multi-family property acquisitions for Virtù on the West Coast. Mr. Bone has been in an acquisitions role with Virtu since 2004. He remains focused on value-add opportunities in dynamic, development-constrained west coast markets. Sellers and brokers in these markets value Virtu’s dependable and discretionary private equity, proven capital relationships, rapid decision-making and consistent track record of performance to terms. Prior to joining Virtu, Mr. Bone sourced debt and equity on behalf of Virtu and other multi-family investors at Steelhead Capital in San Francisco. He graduated from St Mary’s College.   • Will Fleming

    Will Fleming

    Regional Acquisitions Director

    Will Fleming’s primary responsibility at Virtú Investments is to identify commercial property investments on the West Coast. Will has over 13 years of experience acquiring and financing commercial property. Prior to joining Virtú Investments, Will consulted businesses in the Bay Area on the acquisition and development of office, industrial, retail and multifamily projects. His clients included MacFarlane Partners (a pension fund advisor for Calpers), Harvest Properties (owned by former Speaker Partner executives), Peter Sullivan & Associates and Sequoia National Bank. Will’s business experience also includes acting as Vice President of Acquisitions & Finance for FowlerFlanagan, where he acquired over 2 million square feet of commercial property in eleven states as well as six years of commercial mortgage banking with First Interstate and Northland Financial Company. He also worked in the real estate lending department of Commercial Bank of San Francisco and in the investment management department of Wells Fargo Bank. Will’s undergraduate degree is from UC Berkeley and he earned his MBA from UCLA.
  • Steve Costas

    Steve Costas

    Senior Underwriter

    Steve Costas joined Virtu in August 2007 and is responsible for the successful acquisition, disposition, and financing of all assets and related due diligence. Mr. Costas is also involved with sourcing and evaluating acquisitions in the Texas, Southwest, Midwest, and Rocky Mountain regions, as well as assessing various opportunistic initiatives. Prior to joining Virtu, Mr. Costas was in the real estate capital markets as both a direct lender and intermediary. He was most recently with JPMorgan Chase, after starting his career at HFF. Mr. Costas graduated from Southern Methodist University with a degree in Real Estate/Finance, and is a licensed salesperson in California.
  • John Green

    John Green

    Regional Acquisitions Director

    John Green has been involved with acquisitions for Virtu since 2001 and has been primarily engaged in commercial office transactions. John is handling the Northwest and Midwestern States areas and has over 35 years of experience in commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and development. Mr. Green has a degree in Economics from Claremont McKenna College.
